Composition of information architecture of Taiwan Stock Exchange:
Exchange
After the upgraing of the transmission system in March 2020, with the implementation of continuous merging in the stock exchange market, the demand for information is unprecedented. As the stock and futures exchanges have their own independent information structures, they are divided into quotation transmission (line transmission) and transaction transmission path according to their main functions. Taking the Futures Exchange as an example, the transmission is provided in "broadcast mode": the receiver joins the classified group according to the information content to receive and the content is updated 8 times per second to continuous merging in the past. For the transaction part, the management session is used to control the flow, but the number of applications is not limited (a session is recommended to have a maximum of 16 transactions per second, and a maximum of 10 sessions can be combined to place orders.) It is different from the stock exchange, which limits the number of fix sessions that can be applied for according to individual securities firms.
Telecom Company
In the past, the information architecture was planned based on the telecom company's computer room. After the stock exchange's computer room was relocated to Banqiao in 2018, it was adjusted according to the trading and matching mechanism. Based on fairness, the Banqiao's computer room of China Telecom currently provides the connection and planning between financial institutions and exchanges, including its internal floor planning of the computer room, cross machine room, serial connection between floors, and the power and space requirements inside the cabinet.
